Neema
Birth date: 20th July, 2008
Neema which means ‘blessings’ in Swahiliwas three weeks old when she first arrived at CNCC.  Neema was picked from the bushes in a village in Rombo district by a Police Officer who then took her to Huruma district hospital. Neema had been abandoned by her caregivers.  Arriving at Huruma hospital the baby was nameless; it is there that the hospital officials baptized the baby and named her Neema.
